Processor – 

  • The Dell PowerEdge T30 CPU has a processor which belongs to the same family as the Intel Pentium® G4400.
  •  The processor is Intel® Xeon® E3-1225 v5 3.3GHz has 8MB Cache and 4Core/4T. 
  • This processor has a turbo which increases the processor speed. Xeon is often compared with Core i7 processors.

Xeon and i7 comparison –

  • Though i7 processors have better performance when compared, Xeon has better error correcting memory.
  •  Also comparing the power consumption capability a normal i7, it consumes 85-100W of power, but this processor consumes only 80W. 
  • The power difference may not look significant, but which using for a long time, it will save a lot of money.

Intel Chipset –

  • It has Intel C236 chipset. Chipset is a device on the motherboard which helps other components to interact with each other.
